VoicePipes SIP Trunks may be used in conjunction with almost any existing or new PBX system.
IP-compatible PBX Systems
For digital IP PBX's, no additional hardware is normally required. These systems will usually connect directly into the Internet and are able to be configured to use VoicePipes SIP Trunks. Contact VoicePipes directly to determine if your PBX is compatible.
Digital PBX Systems without IP-compatibility or Analogue PBX Systems
These systems require a Media Gateway device that permits them to be connected to your business Internet service rather than Telstra's phone lines. Media Gateway devices are available with multiple ports to match the number of phone lines that is replacing - from four (4) ports up to thirty-two (32) ports. If more than 32 ports are required, multiple Gateway's can be used.
